Having dined here few years ago with great memories so I was looking forward to going back again with my wife on a special occasion.Upon our arrival we were pleasantly greeted, seated and attended by a friendly waiter. Throughout the all evening, we were constantly attended to and asked how our meals were. Big thumbs up for such a quick and efficient service.

This has been one of the best Italian dinner experience we have had. The food was excellent, the service was great and on the whole, the Giardinetto Italian Restaurant is great value for quality and service. Nice casual atmosphere that’s not too common in the Eastern Suburbs (meaning you don't need to get that dressed/dolled up to fit in here).
We would recommend Giardinetto Italian Restaurant to any one wishing to participate in a good quality Italian dinner.

We had dinner here on Wednesday night and we were very impressed. We have tried chef's special - John Dory Fillet and Filleto Gamberoni Avocdo and we were very satisfied. As a dessert we had Tiramisu which was excellent. The presentation for both dishes was outstanding.

I really liked this little restaurant, a friend recommended it so we headed along one Saturday night. We started with bruschetta, the best bruschetta I have ever had. Then we have tried chefs special – Steak Giardinetto, which was very nice. Inspite of that we were pretty full, we decided to go for tiramissu. When we finished we realized that it was good choice.We bought wine from across the street so we were very happy this place was BYO.

I really wish there were more local restaurants like this, tasty, interesting food , served by people who care about what they are doing, with an accessible wine list and BYO. I've been here a few times now and I have enjoyed it each time. Normally I don't order chicken when eating out but the chicken breast with creamy avocado sauce is really something special. I finished my meal with a delicious dessert which was tiramisu.

We dined here on Saturday night and had a great time. The food at this restaurant is sensational and great value. The wine list has a great selection of excellent wines at very reasonable prices. The wait staff was friendly and attentive and the entertainment added that authentic Italian feel. Our last time there was with another couple visiting from Italy (they thought it was wonderful) - several bottles of wine and 3 courses each only amounted to a $300.00 bill! Thanks guys - we'll definitely be back.

Outstanding ! ! ! ! This was an outstanding experience in both customer service and food. Our waiter was very attentive and told us not to fill up on bread as the portions are very big. The food was fresh, the pasta was cooked perfectly, and if eating in -- the atmosphere is great. I would recommend the Linguine Gaberatti to anyone who goes.

I am Italian, and I cook all of my dishes from scratch. This place is absolutely delicious!!! You will not be disappointed!
The portions are enormous though. Everything is served "family style". We were a party of 2. We ordered two pasta dish, and one appetizer of bruschetta. Both were very large. Enough to feed at least 4 or 5 people.
I can not wait until I can go back to Sydney.

I was in Sydney few weeks ago and we happened upon Giardinetto on our last night there, and if we would've known about Giardinetto the first night, we probably would've eaten there every night! It was the best pasta and salad I have ever eaten, and the bread was excellent as well. We are planning a return trip to Sydney at the end of the year and you can believe that we will be eating there more than once. I can't wait!

Great romantic place! Had very romantic dinner here. Quiet, pleasant music, wait staff was very professional, friendly and un-rushed. Food was superb, Italian wine was very good. And best of all, my wife gave me a great big hug and kiss for taking her there! We both liked it so much that we had our photo taken in front so we will never forget where it is. This was our first visit to Sydney and discovering Giardinetto played an important part in us being thrilled with our trip. Definitely recommend this restaurant.

These guys put on a great night for us, my girlfriend & I really enjoyed night in Giardinetto. The food here just get better and better! Combine that with the excellent service, fab wine list and romantic atmosphere - it's a great night out!
The mains took a little too long to come out, but were great. Desert menu definitely worth a look.

I have loved this place for so long; my partner and I went there for my birthday last week and being a tuesday night, it wasn't too busy but it was lovely as they had all the different couples spread out. There was a little mix up with our salad but the host was so apologetic and definitly made up for the mix up which I thought was nice. We were full to the point where we couldn't even finish our Creme Brule (and that's full!) and only paid $155 for our whole meal + drinks so we definitely got value for money!
